Formula Hyaluronic Acid Brightening Hot Cloth Cleanser
I love a cream cleanser and if I find one that’s both effective and affordable then I love it even more. If it’s technically classed as a ‘hot cloth’ cleanser then that doesn’t make much odds to me as I take all my cleansers off with a flannel anyway.
The Formula Hyaluronic Acid Brightening Hot Cloth Cleanser from Marks and Spencer actually comes with its own little muslin cloth but I still prefer to use a flannel as I find they hold the heat better. This cleanser boasts of having hyaluronic acid as an ingredient. I’m not entirely convinced of the benefit of this in a wash-off product but even so my skin is left feeling soft, hydrated and not at all stripped.
It’s quite hard to show texture in a photo but hopefully you can see that it’s actually more of a thick lotion than a cream and feels what I can only describe as bouncy as you massage it over your face. I can’t vouch for its makeup removing abilities as I tend to use it more for a morning or second cleanse as it’s so refreshing.
The only negative I have found with this product is not actually with the product itself but with the packaging. As I said, the texture of it is pretty thick, thicker than the flimsy little pump can really handle. Mine actually stopped working altogether at one point but thankfully poking around inside with a wooden skewer eventually got it going again. Also, the pump's tube doesn’t reach the bottom of the bottle so there was still quite a bit of product left which I had to try and scoop out. The fact that I was willing to go to this much effort to use every last bit just proves how much I love it but if they could just change the pump then it would be even better.
At the time of writing the Formula Hyaluronic Acid Brightening Hot Cloth Cleanser is £11 for a nicely generous 200ml which makes it an excellent affordable option HERE.
