Laura Mercier Flawless Fusion Ultra-Longwear Concealer

I had pretty much given up on finding a concealer that I could use under my eyes. Of course, I have my trusty Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer for covering blemishes but I've never found anything for my dark circles that didn't crease instantly and just make things look worse. My quest isn't helped by the fact that I have very pale skin and usually find that even the palest shade in most foundations and concealers just isn't pale enough. When I heard that the new Laura Mercier Flawless Fusion Ultra-Longwear Concealer comes in 12 different shades and boasts 12 hours of crease-resistant wear I started to get excited. Could this finally be the one?

The shade range covers cool, neutral and warm undertones. Unfortunately, they didn’t have shade 1N in stock which I think would probably be the best match for me so I picked up 1C instead. As you can see from the swatch it is quite peachy but I can just about get away with it under my eyes as the tone helps to neutralize any purple. I had this swatch on my arm for a little while and it never completely dried down which is one of the great things about this concealer, it stays flexible which helps to prevent it creasing.

I have tried it both with and without powder over the top to set it and found that it didn’t make much different to the performance or longevity. It was still looking pretty good at the end of a long day at work. It’s also very easy to blend with either a brush or just your finger. If, like me, you have been searching for your perfect concealer then the Laura Mercier Flawless Fusion Ultra-Longwear Concealer has got to be worth a try.

At the time of writing the Laura Mercier Flawless Fusion Ultra-Longwear Concealer is £24 HERE.
